Albert Thompson Jr. M.S., CAADC, LCAS
Albert is a North Carolina native. He received his Bachelors degree from Winston Salem State University with a major in Rehabilitation Studies. He earned his Master’s Degree in professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University.
Albert is a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and has over 10 years of experience working with individuals as well as groups suffering with substance abuse and mental illnesses. He has worked with the IDD population in the in-home settings as well as Day Treatment Programs. In the most recent years he started to work with correctional facilities and then moved to working with medical assisted treatment. He prides himself on promoting the reduction of recidivism. He is excited to continue to serve his community by applying his expertise to help those that may need help reaching their personal goals.
